So decided I wasn't going to risk getting killed in 2 seconds capping at the start. It was a tier 10 match and saw their was a few radar ships on the other side. I was in my Asashio the other day that can fire torps from 20k. That is what stats players are, they expect others to do the hard work for them to farm damage, no matter what it might mean for you! Had this stats player crying about the fact I wouldn't cap right away and shot me 3 times because it upset him. The biggest whiners in the game that tell others what to do, are usually the stats players "who have no sense of enjoyment", and only play it to try and prove a point that they are good to others at the expense of not really playing as a team player. Seen it going on too much in WOT and it's no different in WOWS when you look at the map in game and see that many either play a back line game, or wide flanking game for safety to protect their stats and try and pick off long shots farming damage. BB's sitting back on the back line for ages and asking others to go rush in and cap so they can shoot from safer distances to credit farm their stats. if I played the game based on only trying to get good stats, then you end up playing it like you see others doing in the game. They are ruining other players games, which equales their free time. Imo everyone who says " i play 4 fun / its just a game" should stick to coop. " AAH crap again i need to carry my team around, dealing 200k damage having 5 kills and several other achievements while winning - ITS JUST NO FUN" Ofc we all know, that everyone who is good is sitting infront of his PC like this: Someone who is good, doesnt have fun! Either they imply that on purpose, or they have never thought about what it actually means. Second: You lose most of the time - even if you disregard that you are infact losing more often than you win, losing is still not fun. If someone sucks, its ok because they have fun! Imo this is already contradictary in both ways:įirst: You are already playing bad by yourself, how can it be fun if you are getting constantly outplayed? This must be the biggest excuse in the history of this game. Have been talking about EXACTLY that just couple of days ago. They think they are good, but they are getting dragged down by bad teammates, or basicly every reason in the book is good enough for them to convince themselves that its not their own fault. This isnt something which can be said for many other wows players. Thats the only thing which can make you improve You realized that only YOU can change your WR. If you have good stats, then they will tell you that you want to protect your toy.Īnd ofc lets not forget many times it happens that someone uses stats for shaming the other. If you have bad stats, then they tell you that you suck and you need to git gud Sadly, there are some people around here who use stats to counter any arguement you bring to the table, 2 examples, when someone is asking for buffs: So why dismiss a great tool (stats) that helps you track your performance towards winning and reaching this goal? I got told that having fun is more important then winning but aren't we all playing games to win? The goal is to win right? Achieving that goal, the ride towards the goal. Why do you dismiss stats and why do some people even hide them? Do you not care how you perform? Why do some of you think that the people above 55% try to hard and that it's not equal to having fun anymore? But when i check the forums, many players dislike talk about stats, call it shaming and say that stats are not important and are not really representing the real value of performance a player can bring to the team.
